She was informative, had looked at my history before she saw me but seemed rushed when I had questions. Receptionist was great.

I felt that Dr. Maria Thomas-John spent too much time complaining about Medicare Advantage plans and not enough time talking about what I could expect other than ordering some blood tests and said that she will see me in two years when a bone density test would be requested. Also, I did not feel that the person at the front check-in desk was very helpful.

Dr Thomas-John is extremely caring and listens to my concerns. She is very organized and thorough with keeping up with needed tests. The office staff are positive, friendly, and thorough. Thank you

Entrance into the building was not obvious - this was my first visit. Signage directing to the separate door would be helpful.

Dr Maria Thomas-John is one of the best doctors I have encountered within the Premier system. She is professional, detailed, through, very up-to-date with her medical knowledge, plus listens compassionately to your symptoms.

The staff and Doctor were amazing. I am perfectly happy as I'm new in the area. I couldn't ask her any better treatment looking forward to future appointments with this doctor and staff.

I would like video or phone consultations available. I drive a long distance, and usually the appointment takes 5 minutes of verbal questions and answers. If no actual examination is needed, it would be nice to do this by teleconference.

Dr. Thomas- John listen to me and understood me. Most doctors come into the room talk to for 15 min. and give you meds and leave. What loved about her, she took me in her office and talk to me and not rushing me where I forget what I need to say or ask. And she smart and knows her profession. Thank you, Dr. Thomas-John. Nurse and doctor seemed a bit disorganized. Don't feel connected with this doctor.

Medical assistant could have acted as if she cared about me. Not very friendly .

Location was easy to get to. Staff was professional. Dr. explained treatment, answered my questions, and why blood work was ordered.

Very fast provider, which can be good and bad. I feel she doesn't give you as much time as she should.

Dr. Thomas-John listens to my concerns, addresses all of my questions, and cares about all of her patients. Her whole team is excellent. The practice is organized and well run. Everyone is friendly and does a great job.

it is difficult to understand the MD due to accent and then having to wear mask. She makes me feel guilty for asking questions to clarify and then states no problems rather than explaining more completely about the abn labs.

She spends very little time explaining my health status.

She is angry with me for not doing lab tests in spite of my hospitalization and rehab with broken wrist in last 8 mo. Stopped infusion

Took about 3 months to get in to see her.

Sometimes I think this provider doesn't listen to me. She acts like I am supposed to know what she means when I ask a question. I don't always understand what she is telling me but feel like I shouldn't ask. My visits are many times confusing.

I was told not to fast for my bloodwork. However, the lab made me come back the next day because they told me that I needed to fast. This was an inconvenience for me.

Everyone is very personable, caring and concerned about your well-being. They're good about getting your prescriptions. Re-ordered your blood work scheduled and setting you next appointment. The doctor checks everything and your body to ensure that the disease hasn't developed somewhere else ask about how you're feeling and provide you suggestions to help

Dr Thomas-John is responsible for keeping my arthritis symptoms under control. In addition, she has been proactive to improve my overall health, suggesting possible treatments to discuss with my other providers. I am blessed and appreciative of her efforts.

I would say my first appointment that I had to wait almost 3 months for was different....mostly talking and explaining how drugs work, etc. and why my insurance wasn't any good, Anthem Medi Blue, and that I should have worn looser clothing lol. All in all my first impression was ok.

Dr. Thomas John is wonderful! She is extremely intelligent, kind, and compassionate. She is an attentive listener and takes excellent care of me.

I know she's very busy but sometimes she doesn't listen and it's difficult to get my questions out I'm not complaining about my treatment as it has been effective but she gets on a roll and I feel steamrolled Amongst other questions, I wanted to ask about my reaction to the Shingles shot and R A but couldn't get it out I actually like her however it's hard to get a word in Maybe I need to be a little more forceful but I don't want to be disrespectful

I appreciate Dr. Thomas-John's expertise - she seems to always be in a hurry and she was in the office with me for less than 90 seconds. Her response to questions are brief, she doesn't seem to appreciative of questions. It's hit or miss. I only have to go to one appt/year for osteoporosis tx - but if I have a complex issue, I would be hesitant to stay with her. Sadly, she is the only Premier rheumatologist accepting new pt's, and there are very few options for people who have Premier health insurance.

I was so impressed with the physician and staff! She explained everything succinctly, treated me with respect, listened to my questions and answered them. I have already recommended her to at least 3 people and my appointment was less than 25 hours ago. One thing that particularly impressed me was that she has kept her office staff masked since most of us are on medication that suppresses our immune systems.

I like starting out slow with two new medication's and knowing the side effects and able to stop them if I need to

My visit was somewhat difficult. We were wearing a mask, and it was hard for me to understand what the Doctor was explaining to me. It would have been better without the mask. I understand that covid is on the rise in some areas again.

Thank you to everyone on this staff for getting me in so quickly, and helping me work through these strange symptoms. I feel so much better, and able to fully enjoy my life, because of you. I couldn't be more grateful for your exceptional care.

A very productive first visit.

This doctor still REQUIRES patients to wear masks. No other Premier facility requires this; not even the hospitals as they are optional. I'm now looking for another doctor because I feel masks should be an option. Additionally, the doctor was in my room for about a minute. Not much was said other than a brief exam of my joints and make sure I do labs.

I have been a patient here for quite awhile & the whole staff including the Doctor has always been courteous, professional & helpful! They are mindful of MY time as well. I never have to wait & am seen in a timely manner.

This was my first time seeing Dr Thomas-John and I thought she was amazing! I was grateful for an appointment after 2 months versus waiting 10 months for an appointment with other Premier rheumatologists. She was extremely thorough and listened carefully to everything I said. She explained her suspicions to the best of her ability with my prior test results and she would continue with further testing to help pinpoint my diagnosis. I feel reassured that she will find the answers I am looking for and be a supportive and caring doctor.

I appreciate Dr. T-J and her team. For this appointment, a float Med Asst took my vitals and gathered my updated info. She was terrific, just like the regular team.

I did not feel this Dr. took the time to throughly read the information from my Premier account which listed reason for visit, test results, previous medications and other information the refering Premier Dr. had sent. As a specialist in her field I would have expected more detailed information and guidance on treatment options.

While not the Doctors fault the computer system was down and I could not be seen. Totally unacceptable that downtime would happen during the business day. Also ridiculous that the provider asked for copay during the online check in process. So glad I did not pay in advance since I was not seen.

Very positive. Worked closely with me to get me in for an appointment as a new patient due to being g a new patient. I'm not an easy case; multiple back surgeries with a history of not fusing. The doctor was extremely knowledgeable and took the time to listen to my concerns. She developed a treatment plan for me which I feel good about. Very pleased with everyone in this practice, the intake specialist, nurse, and doctor.

Dr. Thomas-John has always been concerned for my health and I'm always confident she has my best interest at heart. I've been disappointed that Premier has taken away my opportunity to have my infusions at my doctor's office as I've been able to do for years. Having them at MVHS doesn't allow for important communication or alerts as to anything that might not be quite right. At the office the same person gives always gives the infusion & I feel that is worth a lot.

I had been dealing with (for me) a mysterious ailment that had lasted 3 months. Dr. Thomas-John was reassuring and calming in her explanation, explaining the nature of the health event and what the next step would be. I left feeling confident about my recovery and her continued involvement and care in future health issues I might encounter. I am very grateful for her help and support. I needed her reassurance that the internet, in my haste to find a reason for my illness, could not provide. She did provide that explanation and restored my confidence. Sometimes what is necessary is not physical help, but rather emotional support. I feel I am in good hands with her care.
